A statistical question and answer site for pros

Cross Validated is a question and answer site for statistics, similar to Stack Overflow for programmers. It’s free, anyone can post a question, and the answers come from professional statisticians and data miners and seem to be of generally high quality. Lots of the questions are R-related, and many (though by no means all) are quite technical.

Could be useful to certain readers in their continuing quest to tear ecology from its natural historical roots and turn it into a branch of mathematics. BWAAAHAAAHAAAAHAAAAA!!!!

  1. Am I the only one who misread that as “Lots of the questions are R-rated”?

    • You’re not the only one! I misread it that way myself as I was proofing it. 😉
This misreading raises the question of what an “R-rated” question about R would be. Don’t answer that!
